Other Forms of International Cooperation:

  • CEM hosts the European Office of the Society for Experimental Mechanics (SEM) , USA, which is the leading scientific society in that field, and SEM's center for Mechanics of Time-Dependent Materials (MTDM), which is also the organizer of International Conference on Mechanics of Time-Dependent Materials, held every second year.                          

  • Professor I. Emri is elected Editor-in-Chief (for Europe, Asia and Africa) of the international journal Mechanics of Time Dependent Materials, Kluwer Academic Publisher, Dordrecht-Boston-London, published since 1996.

  • CEM annually organizes an International Workshop on Advances in Experimental Mechanics (IWAEM) in cooperation with the Laboratory for Experimental Mechanics, Aoyama Gakuin University, Japan (Professor M. Takashi), and Department of Mechanical Engineering and Mechanics, Lehigh University, Bethlehem, USA (Professor A. Voloshin).

  • CEM is a member of WAK - Wissenschaftlicher Arbeitskreis Kunststofftechnik, Germany, a scientific associations of German Institutes and departments, which bring together broad knowledge on polymer technology.

  • Since 1995 CEM is also an official representative of  International Academy of Engineering (IAE), Russia  in Slovenia.
